Here’Äôs how it works: everyone who registered for the event on Waxxi’Äôs web site is given a unique user code and a toll free or direct dial telephone number to dial into. The conversation is moderated, so there isn’Äôt what might be considered ’Äòpodcast chaos’Äô and with the touch of two buttons on their phone, people can ’Äòraise their hand’Äô to ask a question. Similar to a Q&A session after a keynote speech, time will be limited; not everyone will get the chance to speak during the podcast. However, the conversation is ongoing and continues online both during and after the event through IM, comments on the podcast, within the Waxxi community posts, and in future face-to-face events.
Shel Israel has consulted to innovative companies for over 25 years. In strategic roles he
has helped introduce leading technology products, among them: PowerPoint, Filemaker, and
Sun Microsystem workstations. Shel is also Editor-in-Chief of Conferenza, the leading blog
on technology events.
Robert Scoble is one of Microsoft’Äôs Technical Evangelists, and has helped to ’Äúhumanize’Äù
the company in the eyes of the world. He is not only Microsoft’Äôs best-known blogger, but
one of the best-known in the blogosphere. Robert also helps run Microsoft’Äôs Channel 9.
